How much will I have to pay?

State and federal funding supports your EIS clinic services, but requires that you will be financially screened and charged a co-pay according to your ability to pay. A Sliding Fee Scale provides the minimum co-pay amounts for clients with a gross annual income between 101%-300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. These guidelines are adjusted every year. A financial screening will determine if you will be charged a co-pay. Many patients have an income below 100% of the Federal Poverty Line and therefore are exempt from the sliding fee scale co-pay. Others will pay $5, $7, or $10. In 12 months time patients will not be charged more than 5%, 7%, or 10% of their Annual Gross Income. No patient will be denied services because of inability to pay.
